Primary Care Physician Opportunity – Anaheim, California

Position: Primary Care Physician – Family Medicine / Internal Medicine
Location: Anaheim, California – Orange County

Position Highlights

HealthPlus Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide comprehensive primary care to older adults within a PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model.

This opportunity offers a predictable weekday schedule, a manageable daily patient volume, no call responsibilities, and a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to caring for medically complex seniors.

Practice Details

• Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Average patient volume: Approximately 6 visits daily

• Call: None

• EMR: Intus

• PACE model focused on frail and elderly patients

• Interdisciplinary, team-based care

• Preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and individualized care planning

• Coordination with clinical and support services

Clinical Opportunity

• Conduct comprehensive medical assessments and physical examinations

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

• Develop and update individualized treatment plans

• Order and interpret diagnostic testing

• Manage medications and coordinate specialist consultations

• Monitor physical, functional, and cognitive health

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team

• Coordinate care across healthcare settings

• Provide patient and family education

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in quality initiatives

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: $200,000–$300,000

• 3 weeks of PTO

• 1 week of CME time

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

• Active California medical license

• Active DEA license

• Must not be restricted from seeing Medi-Cal or Medicare patients

• Minimum one year of documented experience with frail or elderly patients

• Geriatric medicine experience or qualifications preferred

• Current CPR/BLS certification

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

• Visa sponsorship may be considered but is unlikely and not guaranteed
